19/20 de Marzo Ten Hour Trekking

Aloha Parents and Friends, happy Sunday!

We just cameback from our looooooong hike, where in 10 hours we did 20.6 miles, we hiked 2,500 feet change of elevation and reached up to 14,600 feet. We are so happy to say that it was beautiful - not only the weather but the students attitude and their feeling of accomplishment. (many take two days to do this hike but we managed to do it in one thanks to their positive attitude).

Let me take a line or two to thank all parents who raised this amazing, caring, generous, fun and intelligent human beings :) It is an honor to get to know them so well in a trip like this, thanks so much truly.

Back to the trip! The hike was great. We finished the hike at around 5 PM and camped at the local hot springs, which best part was the sound of the river next to our tents. Although the pictures do not do justice they will tell you more about the trip than I can. -A.Piercy
