Today we woke up early and went hiking in the Ollantaytambo ruins before breakfast. Then everyone split up and went back to their home stays to eat with their families and rest, before meeting at the NGO’s at 10.00 am to begin working on our volunteer projects. Most of us chose the health for the community job and we have to prepare the presentations for tomorrow when we go out to the communities and teach. Daniel chose to work for the NGO that assists women to sell their merchandise for a fair price. He helped visiting different hotels to promote the coming sale and then setting the store with tags and price changes. We broke for lunch and then went back to work until 5.00pm. Afterwards we went to the basketball courts to play some games and then celebrate Mr Ford’s birthday.
We are really excited to continue our volunteer projects tomorrow and for the weekend to come.
